Application: SĀNTI · Android package com.santi.platform
This Privacy Policy describes how SĀNTI (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects,
uses, stores, shares, and protects information when you use the SĀNTI mobile application
and related online services (the “App” and “Services”).
SĀNTI is a spiritual companion for rituals, festivals, Gita guidance (including
GitaSaathi), wellness suggestions, daily sadhana, diet guidance, and plant
practice. By creating an account or using the App, you agree to this Policy.
If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the App. For questions, contact us
using the details in Section 12.
1. Who we are
SĀNTI operates the Android application identified as package
com.santi.platform and the backend APIs that power account, content, and
guidance features. Support contact:
support@santi.app.
2. Scope
This Policy applies to:
The SĀNTI Android app (Play Store / sideload builds of com.santi.platform).
Authenticated API calls from the App to our servers.
In-app Contact / support messages you submit.
It does not control the privacy practices of third-party websites, WhatsApp, social links,
or payment providers you may open from the App. Those services have their own policies.
3. Information we collect
We collect information in the categories below. Exact fields may evolve as we add features.
3.1 Account and authentication
Phone number — used for one-time password (OTP) sign-in.
OTP session data — temporary codes and session identifiers needed to verify you.
Display name (optional) — if you set a profile name.
Session / auth tokens — stored on your device so you stay signed in securely.
3.2 Practice and personalization data
Favorites and saved content preferences.
Sankalp / intention entries you create.
Daily sadhana / todo tasks (create, complete, delete).
Diet preference flags (for example free diet-chart usage and goals you select).
Saved or “my plants” selections and related practice notes stored for your account or device.
Wellness-related inputs you choose to submit (for example mood context used to suggest yoga or breath practices).
3.3 GitaSaathi and AI guidance
Messages and prompts you send to GitaSaathi or similar guidance features.
Generated replies and associated usage metadata (for example timestamps and
daily quota counters) so we can return Gita-based guidance and prevent abuse.
Verse references returned from our content library may be associated with a conversation
turn for continuity and quality.
Do not include sensitive third-party personal data, financial secrets, or medical emergency
information in chat messages. GitaSaathi is spiritual/educational guidance, not medical,
legal, or clinical advice.
3.4 Device, notifications, and local storage
Notification permission state — whether you allow local reminders.
Reminder schedules you create (stored primarily on-device for local
notifications).
On-device caches (for example favorites, sankalp, plants, offline packs,
reminder lists) via local storage on your device to improve performance and offline use.
Standard technical diagnostics that hosting platforms may log (for example IP address,
request time, and error codes) when the App calls our API — used for security and reliability.
3.5 Contact and commerce-related forms
If you use Contact or proxy-puja style forms: name, phone, message text, and any details
you voluntarily enter (for example temple or gotra fields).
If you message us on WhatsApp or email, that conversation is also governed by those
platforms’ terms.
3.6 Information we do not intentionally collect
We do not sell advertising profiles based on your spiritual practice data.
We do not require precise continuous GPS tracking for core features.
We do not request access to your contacts, SMS inbox content, or photo gallery for core auth/practice features (beyond what the OS may show for sharing/intents you initiate).

Respond to lawful requests and enforce terms where required.
We do not sell your personal information to data brokers or advertisers.
5. Legal bases (where applicable)
Depending on your location, we may process personal data under one or more of these bases:
Contract — to provide the App features you request (account, guidance, tasks).
Consent — for optional permissions such as notifications, and for optional AI chat you initiate.
Legitimate interests — security, fraud prevention, product reliability, and improving guidance quality in a privacy-respecting way.
Legal obligation — when the law requires retention or disclosure.
6. Sharing and processors
We share information only as needed to operate SĀNTI:
Infrastructure / hosting providers — cloud hosts that run our API and
databases (for example application hosting platforms).
AI / LLM providers — when you use GitaSaathi, message content may be
processed by a language-model provider solely to generate a response for you.
Communications tools — if you contact us via WhatsApp, email, or similar,
those providers process the conversation.
Legal / safety — if required by law, court order, or to protect users,
the Service, or others from harm or abuse.
Business transfers — if SĀNTI is involved in a merger, acquisition, or
asset sale, information may transfer under continued confidentiality commitments.
Processors are instructed to use data only to provide their service to us, not for their
own unrelated marketing.
7. Retention
Account & practice data — kept while your account remains active and
as needed to provide the Service.
OTP / short-lived auth data — retained only for the period needed to
complete verification and security checks.
AI chat / quota records — retained as needed for continuity, abuse
prevention, and operational logs, then deleted or anonymized according to our retention
practices.
On-device data — remains on your device until you clear app data, uninstall,
or delete the relevant items in-app.
Support messages — retained as long as reasonably needed to resolve your
request and maintain support records.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the
data, including HTTPS for network traffic between the App and our API, access controls on
production systems, and signed Android release builds. No method of transmission or storage
is 100% secure; please protect your device with a screen lock and do not share OTP codes.
9. Your choices and rights
Access & update — review profile and practice data in the App where available.
Sign out — end your session from Profile / account controls.
Notifications — enable or disable reminder permissions in Settings and on your device.
Delete practice items — remove tasks, favorites, and similar content you control in-app.
Account deletion — request deletion of your account and associated server
data via Contact in the App or by emailing
support@santi.app. We may need to verify ownership
of the phone number on the account.
Depending on your region (for example GDPR/CCPA-style laws), you may also have rights to
access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing, and to lodge a
complaint with a supervisory authority.
10. Children
SĀNTI is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect
personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account,
contact us and we will take steps to delete the information.
11. International transfers
Our servers and processors may be located in countries different from yours. When we
transfer personal data internationally, we take steps designed to ensure an appropriate
level of protection consistent with this Policy and applicable law.
12. Contact & deletion requests
For privacy questions, data access, or account deletion:
Please include the phone number associated with your account so we can locate and verify
your request. We aim to respond within a reasonable period.
13. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top
will change when we do. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the
revised Policy, except where additional consent is required by law.
